Overview

The Association of African Sustainability Practitioners (AASuP) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded by Think Energy Media, Africa’s pioneering online media platform exclusively focused on ESG and sustainability. AASuP aims to support a knowledge-based green transition across Africa, with a focus on renewable energy, sustainable development, and environmental stewardship.

In partnership with Accra Technical University, AASuP has introduced certified sustainability courses, designed to equip professionals and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to drive Africa’s transition to a more sustainable future. These courses cover key sectors such as renewable energy, construction, banking, transport, agriculture, and academia, ensuring a comprehensive approach to sustainability.

By combining industry expertise with academic rigor, AASuP and Accra Technical University are poised to make a significant impact in shaping Africa’s sustainability landscape. This collaboration supports the development of a new generation of sustainability practitioners and thought leaders, equipped to address the complex challenges facing Africa and contribute to a more sustainable future.
